What they didn't teach me in school I made up for it in these last ten years of driving. So yes a JD Truck Training Centre school will teach you of all the CDL requirements that you need to know to pass a DOT test and get on the road. But what you need is a head start in trucking to get you prepared to the many challenges you will face.
Well after 5 or 6 more hours you finally get your load unloaded. This is probably 12:00 midnight by now and going on 3 days with no sleep,no eat,no shower, and guess what you still have a half hour of driving left to hopefully get into a truck stop and parked.
I remember when the Truck driving school was teaching me how to meet all the CDL requirements. They taught me how to back up, shift and do lane changes and everything. But the real deal of getting loaded, to driving through the mountains is another thing.
It doesn't matter if you are man or a woman, driving a truck is certain to test all your capacities. Even though people believe that is more of a man's Hr licence SA job, there are many women employed in this category. The only disadvantage is that with all the movements on great distances, it will be really hard to have a family. But the main reason why you should consider a truck driving job is the median expected salary. It usually reaches $38,126 per year, but it can also increase to almost $49,584, which is quite all right for a family.
First I like to point out the legal side. This is a BIG ONE. Being a truck driver is fun and you can make a lot, or a ton of money. So what do I mean legal? Because we both know that you need a CDL license to drive... When I say legal we are looking at your MVR (Motor Vehicle Record). Why is this important? If you have 1 too many violations most trucking companies will not hire you. This is what the HR Truck Licence schools do not tell you.
However, knowing about the Bubble involves more than just keeping open space around you whenever it's convenient. It also means being aware of whatever space there is. It means checking behind and to the sides frequently and being aware of what other drivers are doing.
So watch your mirrors and plan your lane changes, also don't forget to look for that trailer. Remember your blind spots and who's around you because these CDL requirements are the key to your success.
